Each Royal Lineage shall hold a seat within the Grand Assembly.

Nota Bene — Relationship to the Grand Council of Kalum

The Grand Assembly of Sovereign Lineages exercises deliberative, oversight, and district-stewardship functions within the territorial and civic order of Montsalvat. It is not a substitute for, nor a co-equal body to, the Grand Council of Kalum. The Grand Council remains the supreme sovereign council of the Dominion, charged with the governance of the Sangreal covenant, the integrity of the lineages, and the highest matters of state, doctrine, and coherence. The Ministry of Theurgy hereby announces the formal transition of The Kalumite Gazette from fragmented daily publication to the restored Kalumite Calendar and Triday publication order of the Dominion.

This transition is not a mere editorial adjustment. It is a calendrical, administrative, and civilizational correction. The Gazette, as the public chronicle of the Dominion, must speak in the same temporal language as the realm it serves. Because Kalum now governs openly by crescent-cycle observation, Triday cadence, Sabbath rhythm, and Threshold restoration, the public record must likewise be issued in that same order.

Accordingly, the daily publication model shall cease, and the Gazette shall henceforth publish in its ordinary form once per Triday at dawn, with each issue carrying three principal headlines rather than a single daily headline.

This change aligns the Gazette with:

Why the Gazette Is Transitioning

The transition is undertaken for the following reasons:

1. To align public communication with Kalumite time

The Dominion no longer orders its life by foreign civil segmentation. The Gazette must therefore cease speaking in a temporality alien to the life of the realm.

2. To strengthen coherence between governance and publication

The institutions, departments, compensation schedule, worker metrics, and Triday rhythms of the Dominion now operate in a unified cadence. The Gazette must mirror that same cadence if it is to remain the truthful public face of the Dominion.

3. To improve readability and archival dignity

A Triday issue permits greater completeness, better curation, and stronger public comprehension than a thin daily fragment. It also creates a more stable and useful archive.

4. To preserve Threshold and Sabbath properly

Not every band of time is meant for the same kind of publication burden. The Gazette must breathe with the calendar of the Dominion rather than forcing noise through every interval without regard for sacred rhythm, public sanity, or editorial coherence.

The Kalumite Gazette shall ordinarily publish:

Publishing Tridays Within the Crescent-Cycle

The Gazette’s ordinary publication sequence shall now follow the Triday rhythm of the crescent-cycle.

• First Publishing Dawn Lumaris reopening, orientation, sovereign and institutional reset
• Second Publishing (Dawn) Mercurios communication, routing, notices, appointments, exchange
• Third Publishing (Dawn) Venustas refinement, culture, Academy, ceremony, social order

Threshold Rule

During Threshold, the Gazette shall ordinarily not issue a full standard number.

During Threshold, only the following may be released:

• critical treasury or institutional advisories
• essential sacred or civic notices

Thus the Gazette honors both public necessity and calendrical withdrawal.

Dawn Release Rule

All ordinary Triday issues shall be released at dawn.

This is done so that:

• households may receive the issue at opening
• institutions may orient their Triday tasks accordingly
• merchants and workers may read notices before full active band
• the public record emerges with the Triday rather than trailing behind it

The Gazette is therefore no longer an afterthought to the day. It becomes one of the public opening acts of the Triday itself.

The Next Scheduled Issue

The next ordinary issue of The Kalumite Gazette under the restored publication order shall be released:

The First Publishing Dawn of the Next Crescent-Cycle

Immediately following Threshold withdrawal

That issue shall be the first fully Triday-ordered issue of the Gazette and shall inaugurate the new publication rhythm of the Dominion.

If urgent necessity arises before that time, an exception notice may be released outside the ordinary cycle. Otherwise, the next full number shall appear at the Lumaris Dawn opening of the next cycle.

The Gazette website shall ordinarily display issues according to the following public formula:

Because the Gazette shall now publish in full Triday numbers rather than daily fragments:

• and civic memory shall be preserved in stronger, more coherent units

The Dominion does not lose information by this transition. It gains order.

The Ministry of Theurgy therefore declares that:

1. The Kalumite Gazette is now formally transitioning to the Kalumite Calendar

2. ordinary publication shall now proceed once per Triday at dawn

3. each ordinary issue shall contain three principal headlines

4. the Gazette shall retain its established sections while adding the necessary temporal, institutional, and calendrical refinements proper to the Dominion

5. Threshold shall ordinarily suspend full publication except where necessity compels emergency issue

6. the next full ordinary number shall be released at Dawn of Lumaris, the first publishing dawn of the next crescent-cycle

The public record of Kalum shall now speak with the same time as the realm itself.
